Second edition of The Routledge guide to the EU

We are pleased to announce that the second edition of The Routledge guide to the European Union, previously known as The Economist Guide to the European Union, is available in our collection of printed books.

This fully revised second edition explains not only what happens but why, analysing the EU’s strengths and weaknesses, as well as opportunities for it to be more effective. It outlines not only how the EU has evolved over the last 70 years but how it works now. You can read there about full specter of EU competence from agriculture to defence, effects of the single market, a single currency and the successes and stresses of the eurozone. A lot of themes and questions and everything well explained on some 600 pages. This second edition of The Routledge guide to the European Union pays tribute to late Dick Leonard and Robert Taylor who were authors of previously published editions of The Economist Guide to the European Union.
