As the author explains, the path to publication of this article was closely connected to her experience at the College:
An early draft of this article formed part of my application to the European Civilization Chair scholarship at Natolin, for which I received a half scholarship. The article then underwent peer review and a rewrite during my first month at Natolin, and in my final month, just before the thesis deadline and exam period, I received the final version for approval. Therefore, the publication feels closely tied to my time and support at the College.
